마음의 눈을 뜨게 하소서

-구 상-

이제사 비로소 두 이레 강아지만큼
은총에 눈이 뜬다.

이제까지 시들하던 만물 만상이
저마다 신령한 빛을 뿜고
그렇듯 안타까움과 슬픔이던
나고 죽고 그 덧없음이
모두가 영원의 한 모습일 뿐이다.

이제야 하늘이 새와 꽃만을
먹이고 입히시는 것이 아니라
나를 공으로 기르고 살리심을
눈물로써 감사하노라.

아침이면 해가 동쪽에서 뜨고
저녁이면 해가 서쪽으로 지고
때를 넘기면 배가 고프기는
매한가지지만

출구가 없던 나의 의식안에
무한한 시공이 열리며
모든 것이 새롭고 모든 것이 소중스럽고
모든 것이 아름답다.
